Mike Romano

Mike started singing and performing in local bands in high school. He continued to perform until entering the military service in 1967, at venues such as Hewitt's, Red Dog Saloon, Beginnings, and other local clubs in the Syracuse and Utica area. 

After returning to Syracuse in 1969, he started performing in several local groups, including Chelsea Street and then later with Night Magic. Represented by Tradewinds Talent Agency, the groups played in local venues, such as Sammy Keys, Holiday Inns (in both Syracuse and Auburn), The Moonraker, Sheraton Inns, The Cabaret, The Downtown Quarterback, Fireside Inn, and Watering Tree Tavern. The groups performed top 40 and oldies music.

In the 1980's, Mike formed the band, Room Service. Working with Sam Carr of Tradewinds Talent Agency, and then later Aries Talent Agency, Room Serivce worked such rooms as Frankie's, Sheraton and Holiday Inns in the area, and many other local area clubs of the time in Central New York. Again, the group performed top 40 and oldies materials. 

It was during this time that he started performing with Terri Wilson who now performs with him in Mike Romano and Friends. 

He performed with this group until 1990, and has only recently returned to the music scene in 2011. The new group Mike Romano and Friends performs "classic" pop, rock, R&B, and disco material covering over 50 years of songs from the 1950's through the mid 1990's.

In addition, this group can also perform over 2 hours of Frank Sinatra classics, also including additional material from Rat Pack members.
